Just Dial’s operating revenue stood at Rs 270.3 crores, up 16.2 per cent year on year

Shares of Just Dial hit a 52-week high rising 12.9 per cent in Thursday’s intraday trade at Rs 1,010 a piece. This came after the company delivered handsome quarter-four results for the financial year 2023-24.

In the past month, the stock has made investors 23 per cent wealthier against a 0.73 per cent rise in benchmark Sensex during the period.

Thursday’s rally comes after the firm reported a 38.44 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 115.74 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 83.6 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.

Just Dial’s operating revenue stood at Rs 270.3 crores, up 16.2 per cent year on year and 2 per cent on a quarter-on-quarter basis. The operating EBITDA or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation came in at Rs 70.6 crore with an EBITDA margin of 26.1 per cent.

As per the firm’s statement, the EBITDA margin had witnessed 1,176 bps YoY and 334 bps QoQ expansion, led by topline growth and cost efficiencies, both on employee costs and other expenses.

Consolidated total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 361.56 crore compared to Rs 306.69 crore in the year-ago period, it added.

The total expenses in the fourth quarter were marginally higher at Rs 214.12 crore compared to Rs 210.94 crore a year ago, the company said. For the fiscal ended March 31, 2024, its consolidated net profit was Rs 362.93 crore, up from Rs 162.72 crore in the previous fiscal year.

Just Dial’s total traffic (unique visitors) for the quarter under review stood at 171.1 million, up 7.4 per cent YoY and 3.1 per cent QoQ. According to the statement, 84.6 per cent of traffic originated on mobile platforms, 12.2 per cent on desktop/ PC and 3.2 per cent on its voice platform.
