Her academic journey began in 2017 at Haringhata College, where she took on the responsibility of heading the Geography Department, an institution affiliated with the University of Kalyani.
Dr. Bandyopadhyay’s expertise and contributions to the field of geography have earned her prestigious recognitions, including the Young Women Geographer Award (1st Prize) and the N.P. Aiyyar Young Geographer Award, both bestowed by the National Association of Geographers in India (NAGI).
Her scholarly impact extends beyond teaching, as she has edited three international publications and authored numerous research articles and book chapters, published on both national and international platforms. Dr. Bandyopadhyay’s educational background is equally impressive, having completed her Ph.D., M.Phil., and M.A. in Geography from the Department of Geography at the Delhi School of Economics, further establishing her authority in the field.
