‘Zindagi ke saath thi’: Congress takes a shot at LIC over the Adani controversy
Congress addressed the problem of Chung Ling, the Adani Group’s Chinese relationship noted in the Hindenburg report, as the most critical part of the matter
In the debate over the Adani Group, the Congress claimed it is time to modify LIC’s slogan from zindagi ke saath bhi, zindagi ke baad bhi (stay with life, beyond life) to zindagi ke saath thi, ab Adaniji ke saath hai (remain with life, now with Adani). This is the case with LIC. And prime mentor Khera stated that LIC raised its stake in Adani enterprises on whose instructions.

We would have all remained silent if this had been a dispute between Modiji and Adaniji “Pawan Khera explained.
As the Congress demanded an investigation by a joint parliamentary committee or the Supreme Court, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh stated that the government is “clearly cornered” on the Adani issue, and thus both the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha were adjourned on Thursday without giving the opposition a chance to present its demands in Parliament.
“The Adani situation does certainly require a probe by Sebi & RBI. “Whether that will be truly autonomous is a separate question considering Mr. A’s particular relationship with the current regime – which may be labeled a Narendradani relationship,” Jairam Ramesh tweeted.
“The Adani family has tax havens in Mauritius, the UAE, and the Caribbean islands. “This is a link that we learned about in the Hindenburg report,” Pawan Khera explained.
The Congress raised China’s involvement in the matter by questioning Chinese billionaire Chang Chung-Ling. “This name was discovered in the AgustaWestland investigation. The government of Manmohan Singh appointed a JPC to investigate this. They intended to drag our name, however, the person involved is their friend’s partner. You may recall SG, Sushen Gupta, but it was presented as Sonia Gandhi. Chang Chung-Ling and Gautam bhai work together as partners. They both work out of the same office in Singapore. What is the status of this relationship now?” Pawan Khera explained.
